For many years my passion lay in the theater. Had years of training. Acting, building sets, making props, sound and lighting design, even directing. Did some film and video work as well. Every few years I still volunteer as an extra for something. Strange that anything even crosses my path.

Why did I “give up” theater? The vast majority of theater people work extremely hard for poverty pay and have to work side jobs in the service industry just to survive. Yuck!

Even worse than that? Working in theater and film, from starring role to prop painter, means having to deal with actors and directors.

I tried going the animation route to escape these pitfalls, but that’s another story.

So here I am playing the lusty, murderous, teenage heartthrob in one of the better known Shakespearean pieces.
